درباره مستندات هالوین
شاید تا به حال شنیده باشید.(منطقی است که اگر از طرفداران باز متن هستید قسمت هایی
از آن را هم خوانده باشید.)
این مستندات که توسط Eric S. Raymond
نگهداری می شوند از نوامبر 1998 تا به حال در 11 نسخه منتشر شده اند که نسخه یازدهم
دیروز – 22 جوئن – منتشر شد.این نوشته ها از نقدی شروع شده که ریموند بر روی اسنادی
که از مایکروسافت به بیرون درز کرده بود نوشت.از آن به بعد نیز بسته به پیش آمد ها
و مشکلات به وجود آمده نسخه جدیدی منتشر می شد.
